Acne Sprays: SNOE or Etude House???

       

I have posted recently that I have tried the SHOO-ZIT Don't Bother Me Spray from Behind Back Acne Spray.  I notice that it works and it help lessen my back acne. However, it gets my skin dry and itchy and the scent is painful to your nose but I kept using it. Until I found out that Etude House offer the same product. I always have better results when using skin care products from their store. So I bought one.

How often I use	Once daily because it dries up my skin	Twice without me worrying about dryness. It even moisturizes my skin which I find very very appealing.
Pump	One direction only, somebody has to do it for me or I have to do crazy twisting of my arm just to make sure I get the product out.	I can spray from any angle, even upside down. This feature makes it easier for me without asking my sister help me out.
Scent	Smells like medicine and it hurts my nose. Since it is being sprayed, the smell is spread inside the room.	Smells ok, It has a faint scent that goes away after you spray.

          Overall, I think the Snoe acne back spray maybe ok for others specially FOR OILY SKIN and they can use this once a day. As the instructions say: if bothersome drying or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. But this didn't work for me although I have oily skin and caused a lot of breakouts on my back.. This apparently is so strong for my skin so I opted for something milder than that. Etude House Oh My God! Trouble Break Mist is my perfect solution to my back acne.  It doesn't dry my skin, I love its 360-degree pump spray, and most importanly: IT HELPED ME LESSEN AND CLEAR ACNE FROM MY BACK.

     Last week I was so busy with work, reading my books, playing that crazy "candy crush" and writing, I barely sleep. I always stay up late until 3am. Add to that, PMS and the craziness of the summer heat. EQUALS breakout!

     It was normal at first I got a zit or two but when it was all over my face. I was like " what the heck is happening? Why do I have all these pimples and acne. I went to the Faceshop and bought these:

I got The Mild Toner, Mild Lotion, Spot Corrector and the Oil Free Control Cream.
I didn't get the Oil Free Control Essence. AND..

     I was used these for two weeks and I thought I was getting results. My face just became so oily and the pimples just got worst. I was getting frustrated. That's when I decided to visit an old friend. I frequent the place often as I have these ugly acne and pimples when I was growing up. 

    This time I looked around General Santos City for a dermatologist and I found Dr. Michelle B. Villanueva. She examined my face and she said my face was so oily but it not clogged. I have used so much on my face that it reacted that way. I should stop using these products for a while but I can wear make up.

    She then gave me this:

Acrylates Copolymer beads soak up certain liquids quickly and easily, but they are selective about what they can absorb. They can rapidly absorb oils, however, they can’t absorb water because water has a very high surface tension.

     I have been using this for a month and a half now and my skin became clear but I still have the dark spots from the pimple scars ( nothing that a good bb cream and concealer can't hide)

     Thank you doctora!!! I can stay busy, sleep super later at night, and be stressed out BUT I won't have to worry about breakouts. 

     

     After 3 months, she said, if all goes well, I can go back to my routine and she can remove BENZAC from my skin care. 

     I recommend that if you are having skin problems that you can't handle by just buying over the counter skin care products and the problem still persists, visit the dermatologist. The pesos amount of skin care products you bought will be equivalent to the doctor's fee and medications you will need BUT you get better results.

I got mine for PhP 198.00 and you get 4 packs. These came in in apple yogurt, peach yogurt, strawberry yogurt, and kiwi yogurt. I tried the peach first and this is how it looks like.

It's creamy and smells so good. It has the consistency of a yogurt, like those cold creams you use to remove make up. When I applied it, it was cool to the skin and gives you a tingling sensation giving me an impression that hey it's working its wonders to my skin. A plus, its smells good. 

I left it for a good 10 mins and washed it off with warm water. I was difficult to remove at first as it settled down to a jelly like film on my skin but then I washed it off completely.

After that, my skin felt soft, supple, moisturized, and great to the touch. This is how I look after;-)

LEMON water, it's benefits

 I heard the craze about flavored water using fruits nowadays. I decided to give it a try. I have researched and found a recipe in one of the blogs to try Lemon Water. It is so easy to do and very refreshing too.

2 quarts water

Juice of one lemon

2 lemons, thinly sliced

Ice

Few Sprigs of mint

Combine all ingredients and let it settle to allow the flavors to infuse. Then ENJOY! You can also use warm water, I prefer it that way. Its so soothing and makes you feel all refresh after. 

Now, that's one healthy drink against your usual soft-drinks or canned juice. Here's the plus plus of it.

I can't stress this out enough but it says "aids in weight loss and gives our body natural electrolytes". I'am now trying to loss some weight, yes.. This might just be the thing. Every weekend I run for 30 minutes on a treadmill and (if the situation permits) walk for 1 hour daily at the end of the day.

I tried drinking it cold in the morning but I am always rushing as  so i get to just forget about breakfast and food. So just coffee for me in the morning to kick start my brain. But, yes, I really want this to be part of my daily morning thing. ;-) I drink my warm lemon water after I settle down before bed. 

My lovely friend, suggested "why not drink flavored water instead of just plain water every meal or any time of the day". Well what a great idea! Why not? you can prepare them in the morning in a big pitcher and store them in your fridge and whenever you needed a drink, you have a wonderful flavored water to satisfy your thirst. It's healthy, delicious, and very easy to make.

You can try strawberries, pineapples, or apples or whatever you fancy. My office mates are doing the apple water and they love it. I'm more of warm lemon water person. So do try it at home. Happy summer!!

   I have been suffering from back acne since high school that prevents me from wearing clothes that shows my upper back ( area below my nape). My only remedy before was to use the same skin care products that I apply on my face to keep acne and pimples away. However, this seems costly since most of the skin care products I use are from my dermatologists or from cosmetic specialty stores (e.g Etude House, The Face Shop, or Tony Moly)

   I was so glad when I found this from a local Department store here in Gensan. I thought why not give it a try.

   Its been three weeks that I have been using this. I use it once a day or every other day depending on the dryness of my skin. If I was too tired and "puyat" that will cause my skin to be oily, I use it once a day. But if I feel it dries up my skin, I skip a day.

It's has been long... the face shop haul

Hi..

   I'm Back. It's been a while.. no very long since I posted my last blog. I have been very busy. I was hired as a project officer to an NGO here in General Santos and I stopped studying temporarily.

   Since I was gone for a long time.. I will review about my latest haul from The Face Shop. They opened a store here in SM Gensan and that made my shopping for Korean Skin Care products easier. Though we don't have any other Korean Brands to choose from, it's a start. More to come then!!!

I bought the SMIM Radiating Moisture Essence and Herb Day Cleansing Wipes and I ended up with all these other products as freebies : Raspberry Roots Extract Sleeping Pack, Tea Tree Toner and Lotion Sampler,and Two Facial Mask:Aloe and Pomegranate 

   

   I have been using the SMIM Radiating Moisture Essence for 3 days and so far I was doing good. It kept my skin moisturized and soft.
